El Poblado park
El Poblado park is a small square located in the heart of the El Poblado neighborhood in Medellin. More than a site of tourist interest by itself, it is a place of reference close to restaurants, accommodations and entertainment options with lower prices than in other areas of Medellin.
Olaya Herrera Airport
The Olaya Herrera Airport is located in Guayabal. It serves regional, national and international flights of general and commercial aviation. It was declared as a national monument in 1995.
Its name comes from the two surnames of the former Colombian president Enrique Olaya Herrera. It used to be known as Campo de Aviación Las Playas and as Medellín International Airport.
Paisa village
Going up the Cerro Nutibara is the Pueblito Paisa, a picturesque replica of traditional Antioquia towns, whose Creole architecture mixes indigenous techniques, such as the Bahareque, with the Spanish influence present in the distribution of space, characterized by the construction of a church in the main park as the center of country life.
Explora park
The Explora Park is the place that best combines the curiosities of a traditional museum with the interpretation that only allows the latest technology.
It is a space, together with the Planetarium, dedicated to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, offering its visitors a mixture of entertainment with an amusement park.
